Yup the HP44 is untouched, I picked it up a few months back with plans of slowly building it up the way I want.

Yes on the D44 thats in my Ranger right now, it's an EB D44.

And on the Winter crossmember deal have him make 2 of whatever he builds :p

So Dave.... What are you gonna do with the 44 in your truck now?

Hint...Hint ;)

Heh heh...you guys kill me! I don't have a 9" to go with the HP44, I've put a lot of time and money into the 8.8 that I figured I'd stick with that...as cool as it would be to go full width.

Steve-o-reeno, consider yourself first on the list when it comes time for me to part with my existing D44...plan on 4.88's in the rear because that's what's in my axle now (open diff). Other than that, it should be complete depending if my current steering linkage will fit the HP44.

My plan for the HP44 is cut down to EB length with a wristed axle housing, Crane outer knuckles with hi-steer arm on the pass. side to get the drag link flatter and flip the tie rod on top of the knuckles. Then i'll be using Chevy:calipers, caliper brackets, spindles, stub shafts with Ford rotors to keep my 5 on 5.5 wheel pattern...there, it's out of the bag now :p

If you could just let me know 2 things, about how much you would like for it, and a time frame. That way I can start saving up some money :D

I already have the buckets :p

No worries guys. I think this thread was just about done anyway. please continue if you want. :)

About the axle, that sounds good. Definitely if you don't plan on going full width there is no need for the 9".

I'm gonna leave Colin in my dust in the washes...lol

Brian did you ever get your truck fixed? I know you were haven some problems with it.

I'm gonna be replacing a whole slew of things. Replacing all the ball joints, tie rods, new windshield, and new battery. That should do it. I do want to put new shocks on the front too, so....lol.. I'm gonna go poor real fast. Fine wine taste on a beer budget..

I never did get back to you on that did I? I'm not really sure. I know Rancho 9000's are always a good choice. The Rubicon Express shocks that are on mine seem to be good too.

you want me keep the light tabs on the rack?
I found a pair of bilsteins for the front. I wanted to go swayaway or one of those, but dont want to spend the money for a new bucket...
How was the truck?

No, I don't need the light tabs. Did it take it off yet or no?

The truck handled great, just think the right hub is busted so I need to figure that out so I can get it fixed before Calico.
