Brake line rusted out on my 1999 Explorer (SOHC), so I took off the line last night and was planning on picking up a new one this afternoon. I've searched through the forums and have found it is approximately 52" long, or at least that length will work.
I want to buy a pre-flared line - used em on my BMW - and I would rather buy this than flare them myself.
My question is what is the fitting size for the brake line? I threw my old line out without even thinking about using it to match up at AutoZone. I know the line is 3/16" but I don't want to get screwed by having the incorrect fitting size and not being able to return the line because I already bent it.
