Brake problems ????

OK here is the deal. last year i replaced the front brakes due to a grinding sound once you drove the truck for a while. Changed brake pads, check for play in the bearings and ball joints, nothing.
Here recently the sound and feel has come back. I pulled the front wheels off to check the pads. Pads have like 75% of the pad remaining and no cuts into the rotors.
Now there is a lip to the outside of the rotor.
There is no problem with braking, just the noise and feel. they squell every once in a while also.

Any suggestion out there for my problem.

You probably need to get your rotors resurfaced/machined and then using sand paper resurface the pads.

Pads are sheap, just replace them.

Buy the highest quality pads possible, and resurface the rotors. Saving money on cheap pads is not smart, don't do it. Good luck,
