'92 eb 4 dr w/186k mi. both dash lights come on. antilock light stays on all the time, the other red ! P comes on and goes out at various times. brake fluid up to level and brakes in good condition. i can't seem to figure this one out, and hesitate to go to a $$ mechanic for help. also, are ex rocker panels supposed to rust out as mine and alot of others have? thanks for listening - second owner since 36k and still running!

Check the wireing going to the sensor at the rear axle. It is not uncommon for these wires to get damaged off-roading and animals love to chew them.

I Stumbled across this old thread and was wondering if a resolution to the brake problem was every found?

My 1990 Bronco II had the same problem. What I did was to disconnect the wires under the master cylinder fluid container and sprayed electrical cleaner, put the connector back on and wiggled it around abit then sprayed more cleaner. Their is a magnet in the container that operates the switch below. It worked for me.
