Or are you talking about the slide pins? If you push the ears down, you should be able to drive them out with a punch, just make sure you lube them with silcone grease before reinstalling them.

i think im not even sure...but a friend of mine said he knows how to do it thanks. any more suggestions would help tho.

On the '94 you have caliper slide pins. Knock 'em out with a hammer and a cold chisel (junk screwdriver will work in a pinch). Make sure the tip of the chisel is across both of the metal bars when you drive it out so you don't rip them off the rubber core. Grease 'em up good when you put 'em back in.

When you drive out both pins, the caliper will just lift straight out.

Suggestion: Go buy a Haynes manual for the truck. Excellent source of info for the shade tree mechanic. Written for the everyday person with good pix and data. Costs about $15-$20.

alright cool thanks i think ill try the chisel i have my own shop to do whatever i want in....and ill look for a book.

Check out Glacier's Brake diary Thread for lots of info and pics.

Basically I used some needle nose pliers to squeeze the caliper slide pin together and then use a hammer to drive them out as in the pic below.

they were designed to be easy to work on.
