I seem to have a reacurring problem with these two ligts coming on. All I've seen to fix the problem is to add break fluid. Well, it's not low so I'm not going to add any. Sometimes they will come on 60 miles down the highway, other times they come on right away. Any ideas?

Have your system completely purged and refilled somewhere (costs about $20 at Monro). Brake fluid absorbs water and it lowers the specific gravity of the fluid to the point that the system thinks it is low on pressure. I had that same problem on my '92, and it fixed it. It took about 1 week after the purge and refill for the light to go out because the abs sensor is on a dead end pipe, and it took that long for the new fluid in the system to work it's way into the old fluid in the dead end.

Have the ABS modulator checked. This is located on the inside of the frame next to the motor inline with the brake lines. This is a common problem. You will need a shop to do this because it needs to be 'power' bled. Mines going in Thurs. to do this. Have fun.

My rear antilock light keeps coming on also- usually immediately or w/ in a couple minutes. Let me know what you do and if it fixes it.
Thanks and good luck

My ABS light in my '94 keeps coming on, but intermittenly. Sometimes right after I start it, sometimes way down the highway. I had the brakes bled and fluid changed, but it didn't help. Read the post about the modulator and wondered how much that costs(short on cash). Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
