What relay type and what switch do I need? Where do the wires go on what terminals on bottom of relay? BWM thread doesn't help. No specifics on type of switch or relay part number.
From what I've read you don't need a relay since your only blocking power and its a low voltage(7v or less) so about any switch would work fine...its in those bwm threads somewhere
So can I use a Single Pole, Single throw switch? As in, one end of brown wire to a terminal, and other end on other terminal? Does the switch need a power source to work? Or will it break the current with just flicking the switch. Are they grounded?

Yes a spst will work fine the switch needs no power since its simply breaking the current that is already there(pcm attempt to engage 4hi)the pcm puts out like 8v max to electrify the magnet in the transfer case thus applying pressure to the clutch in xcase and engages front axle... Your simply removing the current the pcm would send if and when it detects wheel slip...
Hope this helps,
Will
Yes, the one that goes up and to the left. The one that goes down goes to the 4x4 shift module and to the right is the TOD relay. Up and to the left ends up at the t-case.
