Built up S-10 take a look

Bash as I may please. I've got good gauges, and from those pics, I can weld better, and I don't use gas (the welds don't look as clean) but that's not the right way to build bag/shock/spring hoops. Simple as that.

Let me see yours

Nice rig Chuckie, and for those that can't appreciate it to heck with them.

I really like the imagination that went into building that rig.

I agree with James, the bag mounts could have done better. The bag is mounted on a tab that's coming off the square mount, which is basically holding the whole truck up which is scary, but still a nice truck. Thise bags in the front are ART Shockwaves, which are definately not meant for offroad use, much less the Slam Specialties bags in the back.

I had to design and fabricate myself with no experience at all; I was getting $50.00 tickets 1 or 2 times a week. My system will adjust 9” rear 6” front and I can let all the air out and I still have a good drivable suspension.

Those tabs are made of ¼” harden steel and would hold up a mac truck.

I love your truck dude, i jsut dont like all the gauges( but thats ok)... but the truck looks awsome...

do you have a picture of it un aired compared to aired ??

thnx

PEACE

By the way I have 81,000+ miles on and off road.

No I do not have pics up and down yet I have been busy designing and building a intercooler.

"McCord Power Plate With Dual Exhaust – one side stock muffler other side open exhaust thru power plate "

---- I hope you have a crossover pipe. Or is it not a true dual exhaust?

BTW, badassed truck. You just gave me some serious ideas.

I am curious what is your profession Chuckie? With all this fabrication and design I am curious.

There's a few. I just really need to get some good metal stock to play with and make me a set of shelves in the garage and work on my welding. Not bad considering I got the welder at X-mas

I have been welding for 20+ years and certified D1.3 so I know my welds will hold.

I'm not saying ya can't weld, but it looks in the pictures with teh welds, and choice of box and then made w/ 45 degree angles... I don't see that as being the strongest choice over using HREW or DOM tube, bent in a 180 degree hoop. That's what I woulda done, but that's just one persons opinion.

If you would see it in person you would understand why its done like this.

Not only that, I do not own a pipe bender.

Pipe benders rule....
Bye the way your truck looks awesome. I even own a ranger and love that truck. i was looking at getting a new ZR2 but came apon a deal i couldnt pass up on the ranger. makes me wish mine was supercharged too.

Did you guys see the one that was entered in ZTop truck? The white S-10/Blazer?

Now that truck was built with alot of $$$ but it was built tough, the best of both worlds..

Airbags are great for suspension, its the IFS that is the limiting factor....

So what are all the gauges for? :D

Hey Alec, I remember when someone on this board was going to buy Splat, him and the VW dealer guy sat there for 20 mins playing with all your switches lol.
