Bumper swap

Hi,

I have 96 Sport X 2dr and my black front and rear bumpers are in bad shape. They are all rusted and bended. I'd like to know if I can replace them with chrome bumpers from the same year X. Will chrome bumpers fit? Will I be able to transfer all the trim parts from my old bumpers to the chrome ones? Any additional hardware/parts required for the swap?

You're talking about switching the black sport bumpers with the chrome 4 door bumpers of the same year?
Yes, it should work. The size and width of the two Explorers are the same, only the length of the two are different.

Thanks, that's excatly what I want to do. My black bumpers look awful.
