so i purchased some used lift leaf packs, and the bushings are in need of replacement. i called the manufacturer and they said that new bushings are $35 each! and would take 3-4 weeks to get! WHAT@Q!!#!OI#

are the hoops on the aftermarket leaf packs THAT much different from a stock spring? i grabbed a ford leaf spring bushing from a full size at work and it looked to be the same diamater (eye ball guess) but when talking to a rep from the company he said that I could NOT use factory ranger or explorer bushings. is there any truth to this? i find it hard to believe, nonetheless they got me paranoid so im seein if any one else has run into this issue and what my options are as replacement.

any feedback is appreciated..

...It's true...Manufacturer's that make their own items are different from OEM..

....If you update your post with who the manuf. is, you may get a definate answer of what bushings you may use from someone who already has dealt with this problem...;)

they are RoughCountry leafs.. im gonna get a set of ranger bushings at work and mic them to see how much a difference there really is. i bought these leafs from a member thinking a bushing replacement would be easy, just my luck.. lol

that or i just realized i could get one of the old bushings pressed out and take it to the local spring shop and see if they have anything. trouble is sometimes they are eager to help and other times they send you right back out the door.

Four wheel parts carries bushings for superlift springs, Poly i believe.
