Here's a questions for everyone who has tore down their Explorer or sport trac rear suspension. Did you replace the bushing in the frame where your shackles connect? I know everyone did the shackle lift. Everyone that has lifted their truck...... did you put your stock bushing in you new springs? IF you guys got any new bushing i need the link now. hahaha

thanks in advance!!!!!

sounds like SOMEONE is in the middle of something, lol

that didn't help no wonder you have so many posts lol

nobody else ran into this... hmmm interesting

When I replaced my bushings I got them from jack it . com
But, you don't need to replace the bushings if your just putting in shackles, and most new springs come with bushings. If your buying springs without bushings then I recommend getting some new ones. But I'd only replace the ones in the spring (not in the frame) unless you feel it necessary (like your replacing all bushings on the truck, which is a bit of $ if you want to go poly).

thanks little x ...... finally someone gave me a real answer. I got it figured out now. The superlift rears for a 03 sport trac use a 1993 E150 front bushing.

or maybe because it sounds like you're in the middle of something because you need it "now". i should've said it shouldn't matter as long as everything bolts back up, but seeing as how i've never changed out my rear springs i woudln't know so i'm not going to say something false and cause more hardships then need be. and the little "joke" would give you a free bump so someone else might see it and have the correct answer.

as for my post count, i've been a member since 7-31-2006, so almost a full two years, it's only 1.85 posts a day. not that much really...

so i'm sorry i bumped it higher onto the "new post thread" and possible helped get someone that knew what was up.
