Bw 4407

I am very interested in swapping a part-time TC into my 97' and have read the articles about the 4406, but I found a cheap 4407. Does anyone know the difference or where I could find out? The 4407 is out of a 97' F350.

A little bit bigger I think--the 4406 fits--barely.

Old topic, but wanted to add that the 4407 has no provision for a speed sensor period. I rushed out and purchased a 4407 thinking it was the same, it is not. I dont think it will even fit because it is a larger transfer case then the 4406.
