I think I have some type of bypass coolant hose leak. Can anyone give me an idea on how much Ford may charge to fix the problem. Providing that is the only problem.

Why get ford to fix it? Just purchase a new hose and replace it....

sitting in the drivers seat, the radiator drain plug is on the lower right of the rad. just plug some 3/8 hose on the outlet and unscrew the plug to drain the rad.

replace the leaking pipe, re-tighten the drain plug (carefully it's nylon), then refill the rad with a 50/50 mix of coolant and de-ionised water.

will take about 40 mins
