...you might want to post some pics of it while you are waiting for answers ;)...i am sure someone will be wanting to look at something....good luck...:D

sounds like you didnt plug your maf sensor in....

thats the weird thing i plugged the MAF in and the lil sensor into the side of the pipe and also the kit came with two mini breathers that went on the other two tubes that use to connect to the stock intake. i check all the plugins and even cleaned them. but yet nothing changed it. i wish i could get pics but so i could drive it i had to put all of my stock stuff back on.

unplug your battery, make sure everything is plugged in again, wait a couple minutes hook your battery back up, it'll reset your computer so it can relearn everything, you are now getting colder air and more of it...

ya right now i sit withthe stock intake along without the air box and my CAI FIlter connected it sounds better but i havent noticed any performance increase ill try the disconnect thing though any other things you might know of?

There is only one thing on the intake that will make the truck not run completely. That's the MAF. Either you mounted it backwards, didn't connect it, or the connector was loose.

welp i tried it again (and yes i know what a MAF is and yes i hooked it up right) but its still doing the same thing that it did before even though i disconnected the battery and then reconnected it. still runs for a sec and dies

the thing is that right after i had the intake on there i replaced it back with the stock and no problems.but ive tried every config i can possibly think of to switching pipes, adding or taking off a pipe and still nothing it will crank up great but when the rpms drop to idle it dies but im sending the POS back too much trouble if id of known this i would have saved my money for the good stuff
