Just curious... I dont really want to pay for a lift right now. Some tips with help.

It depends. If your springs sag a bit, they might rub. Some Explorers fit stock, some don't:)

I tried a set of 31s before my lift, and they only would have rubbed in a turn if I hit a bump (or maybe without hitting something? I dunno). Again, my springs and everything were old, but there ya go. At that time, I chose to go with 30s.. But you might have better luck..

And now that I think of it, I really wouldn't have had much to worry about. They were on there for a few months and I stayed on the street... And now they're sitting in the shed out back.. DOH! Oh well...

Yup, sittin' on stock wheels... Why? :)

Hey, you're in Houston... That's not too far from here.

They're BF Goodrich All Terrains, you think you'd want 'em?

Well, I had them on for about 4 months and I probably put about 3-5k on them. Treadwise I'd say about 95% left (Just a guess, I could go out and measure if you'd like). Moneywise, I'd like to get a couple hundred or around there for them (set of four, wheels included if you want).

i live in florida and i might be interested in your tires and rims. ill pay for shipping. are they 30's or 31's?

The 31's should fit. Some 31's are bigger then others. I have herd people say that that their BFG's rubbed but their pirelli's didnt...

punkbek3886 - they're 30x9.5's on the stock 15x7" wheels...

Oh wow, wasn't expecting the responses... Is this something I should ask Rick about? (Cause I'd be selling something)

As I said before, I'd love to get around $200 for the tires and wheels together (paid twice for the tires probably, and the wheels are an added bonus) :)

You shouldn't have a problem running 31's stock on your Explorer. I had 31 BFG MT's on my 94' XLT and they didn't rub.

dejello... do you have any pics? Also, does it make a difference that I have a 4x2 not a 4x4 as far as the wheels go? Ive always wondered that... BC of the hubs or something lol... Interested in sellin just the tires and not the wheels? Since I already have em I mean... Lemme know thanks.

Sorry, no pics.. These were before I realized I should be taking pics... I just went to the shed and pulled them out to take a look and refresh my memory:

The tires are in excellent condition (just dirt as far as I can see, will inspect closer), never took them off-road... Tread in excellent condition

The only difference I can think of in the wheels are the two front center caps (they have a hole in the center for the hubs to stick through, you should be able to use center caps off a 4x2). Just saw I'm missing one of the rear center caps.

And for selling just the tires, sure :)
