Can you load music on to SD card?

I did a generic search for "SD Card" and did not see anything.

We just purchased a new explorer this weekend. I noticed under the audio options there is a choice for "SD Card".

Is there a separate sd card slot from the one used for navigation? One that I can load a bunch of music on and play directly from?

When I try to choose this option, I get a message that says something in the regard of "no sd card found".

Any input is greatly appreciated.

If you have Nav on the Ex, you can't load music on the SD card. If you don't have Nav, then supposedly you can.

I use a thumb drive (without any programing on it from mfr) and it works great. there are 2 USB drives, so you can load almost every song known to man and enjoy.

That is what I figured and that is what I will do. Thanks for the confirmation.
