If I keep pressure on the key instead of completely releasing the key the car will run. I've had been having issues with not being able to find ACC when turning the key backward. I would have to wiggle the key back and forth for ACC to kick in. Now it will not lock into ACC at all

Is it most likely the Ignition Switch

Or the ignition lock

I pulled the lock out and it looks OK, but I do not know how much you can tell by looking at it

Thanks

Anything, I really need some help here

I'm betting on the switch, although it could be the ignition lock also, since the lock mechanically turns the switch.

Replaced the switch and it fixed it

thanks

My Connector came loose and when i Replaced my Ignition switch it didn't Help , So I Crawled under the dash with a Flash light and found that Connector Just An 1/8th Inch Above the Connection , So I Grabbed A Long wide Zip Tie And Put It Back in place and Has Been Fine Since , Thought I'd add Mine On Here In case It Happens And Someone Can't Figure It Out !
