Hey everyone. I just bought a 97 XLT and it came with a hanging cargo net. Only problem is i dont know where it is supposed to hang from. I know this is kinda a stupid question, but ill ask more important ones once i have money to do some serious mods.

There should be some buttons (for lack of a better word) on each side of the rear cargo aera. They will be near the corners (closest to the lift gate). The hoops on the net attach arround the buttons.

Yeah i figured there should be some kind of "button" to hook the two top loops onto. My friend has them in his GMC Jimmy. I cant find em on mine. Its really no big deal but thanks for the reply!

Stop Thinking GM!

The Ford Cargo net hooks on to the Tie-Downs on the floor in the rear cargo area.

I've seen the net that attaches to the four tie downs. Mine is different. It is supposed to hang. Im pretty sure it is supposed to attach to two of the tie down though.

Somewhere i saw some that hang in the slots that the cargo cover attaches on closest to the liftgate

as far as I know, Ford has not changed the design of the cargo net, so if you have something different We can't help you.

Sounds like I've some weird after market net. Well thanks for all your help. Looks like ive got to find another way to keep all my stuff from sliding around. Thanks again.

Sorry Man!

That comes from spending too many hours fixing other peoples cars and not enough time paying attention to your own.
