In the market...
I am looking for a cheap solution to carpet replacement. I am thinking I will do bed liner in the cargo area but Id like carpet everywhere else. Because the truck has cost me very little, so spending a couple hundred on carpet seems excessive, especially for my winter beater. Most people Ive contacted wont sell theirs for less than 100 and then there is shipping. So basically Im looking for some sub $100 solutions that will look decent and install with relative ease.

I was thinking some indoor/outdoor carpet from my ex. Like astroturf, but a different color. The only thing that may be difficult is fitting it to all the concave in the floor. I guess just rip out the old carpet and trace away for the new stuff. I think you can pick this stuff up at home depot or walmart for very cheap. I remember doing it in a boat and it work great!

Mad Cow...

Is your old carpet worn out or just dirty, crappy looking? I have taken old dirty carpet and made it look very close to new by removing it from the vehicle and using a pressure washer. If you don't have a pressure washer take the carpet to one of the do it yourself car washes with the high pressure wands/ guns. Hang the carpet up on the mat washer and use the soap cycle first. Start at the top of the carpet and work your way down. You can watch the dirt just flow out of the carpet. Rinse completely and let sit out in the sun all day to dry. It worked great on the carpet I have done it on and it is cheap, probably cost you $5 or so to clean your carpet.
