the flange on mine is rusted out and i need the new ones (its 2 connected) so i need a new cat. the guys at midas (they actually do honest work over here) have me quoted at like 500 bucks for the new one with all their ####ing markup.

i see an easton one for 220. any links of a sure replacement?

i just bought one for 140 from ebay. got it from wundercarparts. fit perfect. only issue i saw was it didnt have the stock cat hanger. and no hardware. but it was a realy nice unit. got it shipped in about 4 days.

How about a junkyard. i keep a spare in my shed because all the talk of high costs scared me. So I saved them off my old parts truck. Lot of parts available on the forum.

In most states Junk Yards can not legally sell the cats. And with the cost of recycling them now adays, they are worth almost as much as a new one used.

It would be best if you are going to replace to go new, unless you trust the person you are going to buy one from. Or you might end up in the same boat as you are now.

if you buy one like i did youll need 3 nuts and washers and the gasket for the ypipe flange and the 2 spring bolts and lead washer for the muffler side flange. about $30 for everything.

where do you get the flange and bolts. im about the order that hiflow from ebay right now.

its holding up mint. i got all the stuff from autozone. you gotta bring in the old spring bolts and match them up in the help section though.

can you tell me exactly what is is.

the flange? or any old flange to get it up?

edit: you said 3 nuts and washers on the y pipe side? no bolts?

i cant really understand what you wrote but heres what im guessing. the one i linked to on ebay and the one i bought are the same. it has 3 studs for the ypipe flange already on it but has no other hardware so you will need 3 nuts and lock washers. the flange on the muffler side needs 2 spring bolts to mount to the corrisponding flange on the muffler inlet pipe.

HELP IVE GOT A 94 ITS HAVING MAJOR PROBLENS RUNNING IT JERKS AND BUCKS EVERY TIME YOU GIVE IT GAS ITS SO BAD I CANT EVEN DRIVE IT . why dont you start with a tune-up sounds liek a fuel deli very problem. search the forums.
