CB coax

I have a roll of RG-6 and a bag of connectors. It is high quality and works great for TV, would it work for a CB, or do I need a different size or something for the CB to be tuned properly?

RG-6 is 75 ohm coax, while RG-58 and RG-8 are both 50 ohm. 50 ohm is preferred for your CB. I have plenty of RG-6 as well, but have never tested it with any of my radios to see how it would do. You will most likely just want some cheap RG-58 for your CB.

Oh, good point. I didn't really think about that. Do the connectors, barrels, etc. also have a different resistence?

No, I think you'll just have a PL259 connector to your CB. Pretty standard.
