Center console - 2000 explorer

I'm looking to replace my center console between the front bucket seats. I'm having a difficult time finding a console that will fit as there's only about 7" between seats. Any ideas? Thanks.

also ive seen some cheaper plastic ones at walmart and autozone that don't looks so bad.

Nick26, probably a few would fit, they're the right width, but unfortunately they're a bad fit for my wallet - they're expensive! Actually, they have more bells & whistles than I'm looking for as most of these have locks and places for a stereo, perhaps the prices are competitive. Thanks, now I have another accessory website to browse.

yeah I know what you mean, those are pricey, but I know there were some decent cheap ones in the autozones by mean, so if you have any around you I would look there.

Why put a console in at all . If your truck is an automatic, convert it to a floorshift. B&M has always made great conversions.
