Center console question

I have a 98 Explorer (4 door). Will the center console from an 03 fit it? I found one from an 03 and it looks exactly the same, but I seem to remember someone saying only 95-01 would fit.

From an '03 four door? It won't be a bolt-in. That's for sure. Would could maybe make it fit though.
