Check Engine Light came on! Now What?

So my service engine soon light came on ---what else could go wrong with this? It might be an easy fix, who knows.....anybody? What's a common reason - if there is one?

I was checking out the manual and it said to fill up the gas tank? Weird. But I'm willing to try that before forking the cash over at the dealership.

Anybody got any ideas?

There's way to many codes that could be related to a CEL to just guess or assume what it might be. What you need to get a hold of is a OBDII code scanner, either from a buddy or some auto parts chains still rent them out if there's one in your area.

I will take a wild guess and say oxygen sensor...

Take it to autozone
they read the codes for free

then post back here with the codes and Im sure someone will help you
