Just wanted to say thanks to all the people that has posted to the many threads that have be made on the "Check Engine Light".

I had 2 codes. PO133,PO401. They are now both gone.

PO133 oxygen sensor bank 1,sensor 1, I found it was eaiser to remove this by going through the wheel well. Took abou 15 min to change from start to finish.
PO401 ----forgot the exact error name, But at per the post I replaced the DPFE not the(EGR).. and it's gone.

Thank you again!!! If not for this site i'd have to shell out a arm,leg,hand,etc...to get these fixed!!

I had them ran at Autozone for free!

You know Autzone is good for that, they will help you pull the codes if you have a CEL for free, then they have a VERY detailed write up for how to troubleshoot each code.

It walked me through testing my 02 sensors, IAC, TPS, and MAS sensor with a Voltohmmeter, just like the Ford shop manuals would, actually easier and better.

Of course in my case it was a bad EEC and all my sensors tested perfetc, but at least now I know how to do it!!!!

Autozone continues to impress me with their low cost parts and in some cases their knowledgable staff (there is one store over here full of morons so I drive a little further to the other one, the manager their is very wise, for an Autozine guy....)

Oh and they got some cheap parts that are good!!! My blower motor was $16 works perfect, the big brake booster is $60, works great, and their EEC's actually come with a 6 month warranty for $91!!!!!!! Thats cheap!!!!!!!! Oh and they had no problem replacing my bad alternator under warranty, lasted almost 2 years, had my name right in the computer and exchanged it without a hassle.
