I stopped by tims place on saturday to check his monster out. It is looking pretty good. He has most of the dash and all the wiring under the hood out Talk about a nightmare It was cool seeing it in person even though you cant look over the side of the fenders. Ill see what I can do about helping you with some of teh wiring Tim. Ill be out of town this weekend though.

- My truck has always been four wheel drive. I am not sure where you got the idea that it was 2X??

Probably because you had a SAS with no front driveshaft there for awhile.

No you are mistaken. My truck has never been missing either driveshafts. Check your facts.

That is plenty my truck has never dogged and it has never been "bogged down" trying to climb something. Second, I am not using four wheel drive right now because of the axle ratio differences, so my transfer case doesen't give a S___.

Oh, sorry about that. You did have a front driveshaft............just never turned it.

Yeah it didnt make much sense to spend 500 bucks to change my gear ratio then turn around and swap in a 5 speed tranny a couple months later just to screw up the overall gear ratio again. That would have been a waste of money, dont you think?

The latest news is this...

I got my new polished Optima battery mount in and installed. It looks awesome! I'll try to get pics on here tomorrow. It ended up costing $125.00 out the door.
Well worth it though. Wait till you see it. It has flames

I am having the wiring done right now. I mailed off the two harnesses a couple of days ago and I will get the new single integrated harness back probably in 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. As soon as I talk to him one more time to make sure it is ok, I will post who is doing it, the results, and the cost. Thanks.

Yes, I will get good pictures. Brett Grooms a moderator on the board is doing my wiring. Pricing is on par with that of the companies out there like windsor, etc.. that work on wiring, but he is doing the wiring specifically for my application. Also, When he is done It will be a simple plug and play harness. I wont have to run a single wire, unlike other companies. All connections are either soldered or "pin-out" connections. There wont be any butt-splice connections that can come loose. His company is called high planes performance. Like I said he is on the board so "pm" him if you need something.

I will get pics and my oppinion on the product when I get it back. Many,Thanks to Brett.

Painless doesn't have a swap harness... they've got a stock mustang harness.
