The Gen 1 ST is notorious for rear passenger door noises. After reading many threads and neglecting mine for three years,
I cleaned and treated them. I've been chasing a "B" pillar rattle with no success, and had a difficult time believing that dry
seals could cause that much noise. They did. Treat them with a rubber conditioner and you will be amazed at the difference.

 I'm not having this issue. But, not a bad thing to do anyhow. Addind this to "the list"
Glad you tracked it down

LOL Steve! You're as bad a noise-nazi as I've ever seen  With that music hard-drive you have you should be well equipped to just "crank-it-up" and drown out the squeeks/wind! :notworthy:biggthump

People ask me sometimes why my phone rings so loud. I tell them that driving in my truck is loud, windows open all I can hear is mud tires humming, wind blowing, and my tunes playing.

Wasn't always that way NC Steve. In the past three years I've had the interior completely dismantled chasing this rattle. Almost replaced perfectly good body mounts in the process. After reading many threads, I refused to believe that soft rubber door weatherstripping would cause a knocking sound. Cleaning and treating the seals completely eliminated the noise. Only regret is it took 3 years. Silence at last!

I wonder how bad straight pipes would sound on the 4.0

youre not talking about the outer rubber seal on the front windows by chance are you? mine dont seal to the windows anymore, theyre pulled out, as if from wind, and they catch air and make tons of noise right next to my ear, it drives me crazy.

Easy fix. Clean the surface and refasten with black 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive.
Dry and dirty seals can make annoying noises. Maintain with rubber conditioner.
