Cleaning TM Headers?

What's the best way of cleaning Toque Monster headers? I'd like to try and get mine back to there original shine, or at least close to it.

oh, if it will not come off with lacquer thinner It is in there. Ceramic is weird about baking the stain in.

I would not use anything metal--(steel wool) but someone else may have better advice

Jon, I think he wants them to be as chrome shiney as when they were new. That shine lasts all of an hour, doesn't it? I wouldn't think you could restore that and if you could, it would go back to the dull finish in short order.
 






Well maybe not that shiny, but a least not brown.

I'd be cautious about painting a high heat ceramic as the paint could trap to much heat and cause the ceramic to crack.

The reason you get the discoloration is because of the heat and the pores of the ceramic. I've had success with ceramic and a bleach/water mix, but your gonna be in the same boat a day or two later.
