clear corners!

i just got a set of the clear corners kit from procarparts.com and it says on the box "not dot or sae approved" should i go ahead and install them or send them back? will i get pulled over if i install them?

I have the same ones on mine, and so do many other people. I haven't ever been in trouble for them, just be sure to put amber bulbs in them.

ya it all depends on how strict your area is. ive gotten pulled over for running too many lights and they didnt even mention the fact that i was running clear corners with white bulbs

I have clears in my 94 with green to match my color theme(green headlight bulbs, green truck, green directional bulbs), and havent had any problems yet but in NYC if they stopped every person with illegal bulbs they would be stopping 5 ppl at any given time at any given place.

The Feds require orange reflectors in front and front-sides and red reflectors in back and back-sides. If your lights don't have them, you are asking for a ticket, especially in back.

I have heard a couple of guys put reflective tape on their bumpers in an attempt to comply, but i think you would loose if you went to court.
