Hey Explorer Enthusiasts you guys have always been so much help in the past I thought you may have some advice here. (I have done a ton of research and havnt found an answer yet) I have a 98 Mountaineer I recently tried to recharge after I thought I fixed a leak. I found there was another leak in my condenser and changed that part out today. My major problem is the smell that came from the vents after the first failed recharge. It smelled like rancid gym socks and god knows what else the day after the first attempt. I believe the main problem is because the evaporator drain (the part that allows excess condensation to "drip" out of the vehicle) is clogged. Does anybody have any clue where this is located? As mine does not drip I have no idea where to look. I heard it was somewhere near the passenger side tire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all again for any help.

The drain line comes out the bottom of the vehicle just behind the firewall on the passenger side. If you get down inside under the glove box and look forward toward the firewall, you should see the hose (might have to pull the carpet back some).
