clearance questions

i have a 2nd gen that i did a 3 inch bl along with shackles and a tt. i was wondering if the stock wheels will be able to clear all chassis components with 35x12.50x15s. i know im gonna have to trim the fenders, but thats a sacrifice im willing to make

Your gonna have to cut the fenders to clear 35s..

yeah i figured that but i was wondering if they will rub at all while steering and if i would have to get wheel spacers. im running the stock wheels i think ill be able to run them without steering interferance.

The inside of the tire will rub maybe the swaybar, since the backspacing is like 4.5 on the stock wheels. try a 1" spacer to help a little, but watch the wear on the bearings.

you shouldnt have to trim much- i thought about running 35s on my factory wheels also after I add my spacers and shackles-let me know how it turns out if you decide to stick with 35s

i got a sweet price on tires at work. im getting 4 35 inch BFG allterain t/as for 600 mounted and balanced. so im doin no matter how much i have to cut right now lol!

Froader the sway bar seems like it hugs the diff/ axle assy close enough but ill have to see.

from corner to corner the 35s are 37 inches so thats the widest they are ( yay pythagorean theorum!) the stock wheel wells are 35 inches wide even. but with the body lift the center of the wheels is lower than the bottom of the wheel well so i doubt there will be too much trimming

im gettin the trires tomorrow and im choppin the fenders on my lunch break.

its game time cuz i found a trail out behind my garage!!!!
