clearcorners question????

ok well i just got my clearcorners in the mail the other day and havent gotten a chance to put them on yet because of the darn snow were getting. Anyways i took them out of the box and notice on the back of the turnsignal corner there are two holes. Ok well i know that there are two bulbs for each turnsignal corner, and i bought two packs of silverstar bulbs, but the thing is that one hole where the bulb goes is bigger then the other???? like the one hole looks like the bulb will fit the other looks like its too small, Any ideal whats up with this??????

The corners are 194 bulbs. The forward facing bulbs are 3157's (I think)

Dont even waste money buying silver bulbs...take the bulbs it came with or buy new ones and paint em with silver paint. It will make it look rele nice too like a deep amber look as well. good luck!

Why do you say this? Do you have experience with Silver Coated Bulbs? I know I do. While they are a little more expensive than your standard CLEAR bulbs, they look a WHOLE LOT BETTER than painting them. The light isn't NEARLY as bright with the bulbs painted, as they are when you buy them with the silver coating on the inside of the glass.

How much are those silver coated bulbs? I had Ford install me clear bulbs when I had them install my clear corners. Will it make them brighter when I'm driving, cause I hate how the corners stay dimmed, it makes them look like a bulb thats about to burn out, unless you put on the turn signal (then it's 100% bright when it flashes).

I painted about 3/4 of the top of the bulbs. It worked perfect. All I had was grey primer. Its been about 8 months and they aren't peeling yet.

I painted alot of the bulb and it still shines bright amber. You can see the amber when they are off, but it's alot better than straight amber bulbs.

When I painted mine you couldnt see any amber in the clear housing. and it illuminated a deep amber beem. I guess I happened to use good paint cus the look after was amazing.
