When you buy them you get an entire new corner and turn signals. As far as I know, the only real difference is that the lenses are clear. Then you have to put your own bulbs in. I kept my stock amber bulbs, so that I'd still be legal.

Its ilegal in some states to use clearcorners unless they came stock from the factory. I know of a couple of guys that got stopped here for them and I also know some that have had them on with no problem. I also know that all of them had to change back to get a sticker then put the clears back on. But gee, they look sooooo nice!!!
BTW: The lenses are clear.

Here are the 'Diamond Cut' Headlamps, Turn Signals, and Clear Corners I installed in my `92 X. I don't have a good pic of the 'corners' but you get the idea.

In Maryland clear corners are okay as long as when they iluminate they light orange only. No red, no blue, what have you.
In maryland Orange is always the front and red is always the rear.

MONMIX:

Better check that law again. The clear corners that I have on my X ARE NOT street legal. Even though I have Amber Bulbs in them.

In order for them to be street legal, they NEED to have an Amber Reflector that is visible if looking at the vehicle at a 90 deg. angle. The ones I have DO NOT HAVE AN AMBER REFLECTOR. I have not been bothered by any cops for it though, and HIGHLY doubt I ever will. I don't try to attract alot of attention to myself though. People that use Red/Green/Blue/Purple lights in their turn signals and/or reverse lights are fricken' morons. Period. Point blank.

I am 90% sure that is the case in the State of Maryland

Every state is different. In Indiana, clear corners are legal as long as the turn signal flashes amber or white.

Hey I resemble that comment! LMAO :D
It's all in how you handle yourself in your vehicle, don't give police a reason to pull you over and they won't ticket you for those "minor infractions". Hell, most X owners get the benifit of the doubt anyways, if I'm next to a celica decked out with more colored lights than a christmas tree and we both pass a cop going 80 MPH, odds are I ain't the one getting pulled over . I've never had a problem with my clears up front, cuz I'm smart and use bulbs that flash amber, my reverse lights are blue, so what?, I just don't go in reverse around the 5-0 ;)
I'm gonna have to side with monmix on the MD law, I think we can have clears but they gotta flash amber, I'm about 90% on it though  , it's different in every state.

Without an Amber Reflector in the Front of the vehicle, and Red Reflector in the Rear of the vehicle, viewable from a 90 deg. angle; The vehicle is NOT 100% percent street legal. That is the case for all 50 states. As a matter of fact it is actually the law in most countries.

Cool, that means I'm illegal coming and going, cuz I don't think my tails have a reflector either. Yay for me!

green lights are illegal unless you are a command vehicle for EMS --fire dept chiefs have green in addition to all the toerh lights on the small trucks.....

jsut because you havent gotten stopped doesnt mean that its legal

where did the pics go? lol but im not saying they are legal in anyway but If you dont attract attention by being an idiot and chirping tires and that type of thing you most likely wont have to much trouble.
