I've searched and tried the recommended gravity bleeding, and removing the mc, and a combination of both with no improvement. The first bit of pedal travel is still very soft but the rest feels fine. I can see the slave moving when the pedal is depressed but its not enough to shift out of neutral. Any suggestions?
