cobra r rims

Does anyone have a set of silver 17" cobra r rims on their 1st gen?

Cant think of how to spell his name, he has a white first gen sport with I believe Stang wheels.

I think you are thinking of Spdrcer34...And I don't know why the 1st Gen Explorer hub is any different that any other Ford hub...I know I ran Mustang GT wheels on an 84 Ranger for years and never had a problem... And I run those same wheels on my 99 Explorer daily...

I've got '99 Cobra wheels on my 2wd Ranger. You'll have the same fitment problems as me and everyone else.

The bolt pattern is the same. Cobra 17x8s will clear everything, tires may depending on the size. (except as noted below.) I'm running 245/45ZR17s and lowered a little, no rubbing.

The hub is longer and sticks out through the wheels, center caps will not fit.

Some wheels will not fit and need the bore opened up to clear the hub. (My '94 Cobra wheels fit fine, even the center caps fit, my '99 + '03 cobra wheels needed the hub bored out and center caps dont fit.)
