Hey guys. I was wondering if you knew of any place that sold tires in 275/55-17 or 285/50-18 w/ 'cobra r or cobra r replica rims'

every place i go gives me grief cuz i push an explorer and they are like NO WE CANNOT GO BIGGER.

I dropped my x w/ the x-spec from explorer express and want something with style/substance.

Yeah, you gonna be hard pressed to find a store that are willing to go beyond what is listed for your eXplorer. It's some legality Bullsh!t. Anyway, you might have better luck going to a shop around your area and ask them for the exact tire that you want. Don't even mention that it's for an eXplorer.

buy whatever you want, whereever you want, just dont tell them its for an X. when you order wheels, tell that place they are going on a mustang. when you order tires, tell them the tires are for a Durango or a Ranger.

would they be good on my X? i'm not really up on tires but i want it to look good with me 1 3/8th drop from stock height. I'm not sure if these tires would be good and would ruin my ride. This X will only see highway/city, nothing what u goofballs do.

you in no way want a 255/40/17 on an explorer. it will look terrible, as it will be WAY too short.

where did u get ur wheels n rims?

Explorer Express, thats where I got my bullet wheels. They have cobra R wheels and they can get you tires too. Their wheels are the right offset and you dont need wheel spacers.
