I was looking on Ebay to see if I could find a blanking plate to go between the center console and coin holder. I removed my non-functioning CD changer and appears to be a hole between the two.

Well low and behold this guy says it's supposed to hold a box of tissues.

Somehow missed it's purpose while reading the owner's manual.

So I suppose all I need is to find a box of tissues that will fill this plate?

They are Kleenex Jr's or something like that.

I have found them at WalMart, and WalGreens.

Some have found them Target too..

LOL, amazing how these things work. It's a good gadget for me. I'm a hay fever sufferer so that gadget works great for me. Sadly, those little boxes are hard to find up here in Canada so I'm often forced to pay stealership prices. :(

If any fellow Canooks know where to ger them up here for cheap, do tell.

And the Dealerships usually still got em.

just go to mcdonalds and grab a few hands full of napkins and stuff them in you coat pockets... they fit the holder perfectly and are a lot stronger than tissues

+1 on that. Dunkin Donuts works well too. Hurrah for the Aftermarket :)

I bought a case of them from Sam's Club. I have also seen them on Ebay by the case.

Can I use the McDonalds napkin swap as a mod in my sig line?

We have napkins... My buddy grabbed then entire wooden napkin dispenser last week at McDonalds. He said "Dude, you said grab the napkins."

He's not so bright...

If it's any consolation, there is no mention of that console in the 96 owner's manual about it. As best I can tell, that console was offered, but it was an oversight that wasn't corrected until the 97 model year. It's on page 60 of the '97 manual though... It's also possible that they didn't install them until the really late 96 model year, and just forgot to update the manual... who knows?

I use my tissue holder to hold a S&W 38spl :).
