well i was looking thru the forums and i saw the how to on how to creat ur own emblem with the ford emblems. it was the newer emblems tho, this is for the older ones.

first i took the stock emblem

and i took a knife and popped off the blue insert

after u pop out the insert flip the ford part over, there should be an all silver bottom, i took 1000 grit sandpaper and sander off the silver under that there is the blue. sand that off also

this one i have already started sanding on. as you can see once u get past the silver and the blue it should be clear. you dont have to worry about sanding off the word ford becuase it is recesed and the sandpaper wont touch it.

after u finish all the sanding just clean it up and spray it with whatever color paint you want, im just going to spray mine black to match my Ex. after ur done painting it just glue it back to the chrome housing and your done. stick your emblems back on. and ur done;)

here is the finished emblem, turned out really nice, except when i was sanding i used the sanding sponge and it got down in the groves and messed up the ford word, i say if your going to do this sand it with regular sand paper that way its flat and wont go down in the groves. just take ur time.

So it seems there is another rubik's cube fan among us  (first pic)
now all you need is a 2x2 and a 5x5 and you'll have completed the entire square collection :D
