My 1999 ohv 'ploder is leaking from the engine block behind the water pump. i searched all and cannot find what is mounted to the engine block before the water-pump.

Coolant passes thru the timing cover gasket, timing cover, then the water pump.

If the timing cover gasket leaks it can leak oil, coolant, or both.

My 2000 OHV leaked coolant from there. A couple bolts were loose in the timing cover. Otherwise you may have to pull the cover and replace that gasket.
