Kinda a crappy pic but thats what I had to trim to just to get it to close. And on one more note you can't open the rear door if the tube door is closed. But don't worry I have talked to Cory about a few changes that need changed.

derrick, im thinking about buy a set, and well im sure i want one, but i have looked and looked, and i cannot figure out how to get those freaking wires apart to get the door off... i cant find any dissconnects anywhere, and no one seems to really know how, can you help me out? thanks.

Ahhh.....

Ok, I see where and why it is hitting. Looks like a redesign is in order.

I lightened up the pic and can see everything much better now.

Time to start on it!

Thanks!

Cory - I think it might have been mentioned before but I couldn't find it in the last couple pages...have you given any thought to building custom rear bumpers/tire carriers? I would be very interested... The tube doors look very high quality, as does your rig...And buying from a forum member would make me feel a little bit better. BTW, haven't said it yet, but excellent job on your rig, hopefully I get to see it in action some day. Any plans on bringing it out west one of these days :D

They don't have a disconnect that will do all the wires. There are disconnects at things like the power window motor, power lock, etc.
Remember you will loose your speakers in your doors, so you will have to find a new home for that.

Thanks. Yes, I am planning on building many more things. I am just waiting for a few people to come out here so I can use them for prototypes.

Take a look at the link in my sig. Should speak for itself!

I just made a hinge for the swingout tire carrier that should support 1000lbs that I will be using in all swing out designs. I'll also sell it stand-a-lone for $40. Pricing on bumpers isn't set yet.

I would First in Line for the Rear bumper tire carrier. I am Going to need one for the Green X. If you made it would it be out of Round Tube like you doors? Must support 35s or bigger. :D

You an your Square tube :p

It'll be round tube. 1.5" .120 wall.

The hinge will hold a 35" tire, hi-lift and jerry can WITH EASE.

I can make the bumpers out of anything, but I am more apt to use round tube because I have a bender and can make it look good and that means less joints to weld.

Once I get my guys here to prototype off of I will let you know when they are ready to sell. Right now, The rear swing out is looking to be priced at $300-$350.

Funny how topics change when a new part is available.
