Well hopefully, Ballistic seems interested in making an adapter to mate our 5 bolt cases to the more popular 6 bolt cases like NP or Dana 300.
I don't know what's involved with the 25 spline input shaft as far as dimensions but i'm sure they could use some feedback in that area.

Here's the thread in the Ballistic Zone:

Ouu that sounds fun!

Interesting..... Let's see where this goes..

I wasn't thinking straight, these adapters would simply let you bolt up to 6 bolt case then you could do a doubler from there. I was still on the 1350/1354 doubler mindset...not that that's a bad thing either:p:

Your welcome....

And I was refering to a doubler plate that would use a 1350 as the crawler case and be able to mate a standard 6 bolt pattern case behind it. but Id take an adapter to use a 6 bolt tcase behind the ranger trans too. Would open up alot of options.

203/205 might be a bit cramped in our rigs?

Dammit, i want someone to build 1350's again. Im such an idiot for selling mine. :(

...I signed up...I always wanted a third stick for my DD...:D

Hrm.. If they just needed a vehicle to look at, and take apart some, I'm willing to let them use mine. Heck, their facility is about 1 mile away from my office (as the crow flies).

Of course, I already have adapter on mine, but those adapters I have put allow me to use the stock transfer case, in the stock position.

Manual 1350's are all over the place. you could use a manual 1354 too (even though they are rare)

Added my support over at Pirate for this Idea :D

Sorry, i meant i want someone to make the 1350/13whatever doubler again. :)

That would be great too, is it too much to ask for both a 6 bolt adapter and a Borg Warner doubler kit. The more options the better I say.

I would imagine it wouldnt be too hard once a "base" kit was made to change it so it worked with different 6bolt pattern cases. I for one would love a passenger drop option. Chevy D60's are dirt cheap compared to fords.

1350/D300 would let you run a GM front... and i hear ya on the cheap GM fronts. Ford 60's are rare around here but Chevy 60's can be found anywere- hell there is a military junkyard right down the road from me full of them with 4:56's.

Unless you clocked the t-case down more, I think a passenger-side axle is going to be a very tight squeeze cauz there is a more stuff on the passenger's side. You'll need to re-route the exhaust, transmission lines, and so on to make room for the driveshaft.

That looks driver?

Giggity, I am subscribing.

I would like to see an adapter that goes m5od to np231 or just the adapter to the nv3550.

I would like a 1350/1354 kit. Sticking with all Ford parts!
