Could it be the Switch!!

ok tonight when my wife came home she noticed that my lights were on she opened the door and pushed my lights dial in to turn the lights off she said it took all her might to get it in...I really didnt pay much mind to it,i went to go to the store and went to turn my headlights on and i had to use all my power to pull it out.

When i get it out i notic that the dash has no lights and behind my ac/heat controls there is no light.
I can also smell a faint smell of fryed wire and i remember reading a post on here about the light switches burning up i think...

Does my headlight switich control my ac/heat backlight and my dash backlights?Please help

it controls it, they do get stuck with the pull/push part, and yes the switch is bad

if it aint one thing its other..lol....i guess its time for a visit to the bone yard thank god they are calling for 50 degree weather this week...i came pretty close on taking a pick axe and taking my dash out i smelled a faint of burning wire and thought my truck was going to burn..lmao
