Cracked Tonneau Cover

Anyone else had this problem. Cracking in the underside, on the half which opens and closes by the tailgate. Dealership tried to repair and started to crack again. Ford Engineering said never had this problem. I live in Ontario Canada winter climate. Any input would be appreciated. Regards, Peter

I'm not sure if you also have the A.R.E. hard tonneau cover, but the only thing I've seen with mine is a split edge trim whis is just a thin piece of plastic. It broke one winter day when I was loading up. I live in Ontario also. Good luck with Ford, I duked it out with them on many occasions especially when my step bars rusted about two years after I bought it. I kept telling them that their commercials say "Built for life in Canada" and they kept telling me that the truck has already seen two winters! They're all just a bunch of clowns.

the same thing happened to me. the dealership told me it was from too much weight on top of the cover
