Quick question-
With an ABS light on will the cruise control automatically not work?

I recently replaced my snapped off switches on the steering wheel to try and get cruise control working for the first time in my ownership, but i did this with an ABS light illuminated.

The cruise control did not work. Im trying to determine if i have a problem based on another problem, or two separate problems

Working on solving the ABS first

I think both are related to a common cause. What else is not working? A/C? Horn? Odometer?

Everything else works including the odometer.

The ABS light illuminated at the same time as an audible random click started that has become quite loud from the front end. A noise like a loose part rattling around. Ive found no smoking gun, but i dont like the feel of drag in the original front hubs after removing them to inspect, so im replacing them both. I thought at first the ABS reluctor ring was loose in the hub as a theory, but both look decent and the sensors arent gummed up, so we will see what happens with the light after new hubs are on there
