I bought my 2wd '96 X already lowered and I just realized that in order to lower the front, they cut and rewelded the lower control arms so that the part holding the wheel is higher than the rest of it, giving it about 4 inches drop.
For the rear, they just used the blocks. Anyone ever seen this?
Also, the ride is horrible right now, even on paved roads and the truck is too low for the roads here. I was thinking about getting new lower contol arms, new torsion bar adjusters (I'm pretty sure mine are shot) and smaller blocks so that I can raise it up some but still have about 1 1/2 - 2 inches drop. I cant seem to find any lower control arms online anywhere though, anyone know where I can get em?
