Cylinder misfire code driving me crazy

Now what????

OK Tbars,
I have a new issue: the 1996 ranger 4.0L that i have is a 5 speed manual, if I am driving down the road and I depress the clutch to roll to a stop sign the engine will maintain about 2100rpm's until I am almost stopped, then the truck will idle normal.
I have also noticed that while idling in the driveway she will rev up then back down on her own. RPM range from about 1800 to 850 or so at idle.

...I would first clean the MAF...Your post of..

..is normal as your vehicle does not know the reasoning of the clutch being pushed in so it will keep the same rpm's until it senses the speed is stopped...That is not saying you shouldn't also clean the IAC...
