Dana 35 gear set?

How do I find out what dana 35 front gears will work in my 91 explorer? I want to ugprade to a 4.56 and Ive seen some for sale on ebay but I don't know which are compatible.

dana 35 reverse cut gear set is what you want. If it is for a jeep, it will not work.

not sure what you mean by cast numbers.

Jeep doesn't use a D-35 in the front, they are mostly D30's with some being low pinion and some high pinion (regular and reverse-cut).
