Hey all just a really strange problem that I can't seem to find anywhere in the forums. I've had my explorer sport for a few months now and never had a problem with the daytime lights but ever since I got back from a trip to whistler (a long ass drive) I've had an issue with them. Wen I got home the daytime lights wouldn't turn off so I disconnected the battery so it wouldn't drain it over night and the next day I reconnected the battery and they were still stuck on. I went for a drive and I turned the car off and only wen I shut my door they turned off. Now they don't come on at all.. My headlights work fine but no daytime running lights.
Any ideas anyone? Hate the thought of taking it to auto electricians, probably cost me a bucket load...
Cheers

I have a switch on the rearview mirror that will allow me to adjust the delay for them to stay on or off.

you got a busted DRL module.... :-( unplug it and regular lights will work fine (won't get stuck on).

Ford cannot build a daytime headlight module to save their lives...

As above. Unplug, if you want the DRL get the aftermarket from Canadian Tire, or if you know how to, throw a relay in and turn them on with the ignition on power wire.

That being said, DRL have shown that they save lives.

Awesome thanks peeps I'll check it out!

Or just pull the DRL fuse. Thats what I did and it worked fine.
