Decided to do a little Krylon Fusion work.

Well welcome aboard.
I'm aware the color doesn't match.
But in my opinion it looks better than unfinished gray plastic.
Thanks for chiming in though. :salute:

Ben.

Yeah, there is just the slightest difference but all in all I still think it looks great

Thanks Glen,
I appreciate the comment.

Yeah, the Krylon Fusion paint doesn't exactly have 15 shades of white ;)

Hell I would have just went with the closest color too ;). I want to see it lifted then

looks sweet man, and it matches really well, you can tell it's slightly off, but it's still pretty awesome! congrats!

looks great >?! it doesnt match at all!

I'm with you, if it doesn't match its not worth anything. It looks like a $30 paint job. Good effort though.

haha, It was a 30 dollar paint job.
So you'd rather the before pic than the after?

To each their own I guess.

thanks

Ben.

What a difference man.. it looks great!

Did you consider doing the door handles?

I did consider it, but decided against, I figured it was alright to have the black, as the windows are quite dark, and with the hood deflector.
I mainly just wanted to get rid of the gray.

Undersood...
It does look great though man.. nice job...
My X doesnt have the factory flares, but Id like to add them.. but seems like alot of work. Cant find much in the aftermarket area either.
I did look at autozone and they have a 1/2 inch flexible chrome strip that attaches with 3M tape. I considered adding this around each wheel.. but still not sure.

Keep up the good work !

I know there are some universal flares, but I'm not sure on how they look.
Unfortunately alot of holes are required in the fenders for the OEM flares.
I do like them though.

why didnt you get a color that would maybe be a 2 tone.

silver / tan / black ?

It pretty much already was a 2 tone, with the gray, and I just didn't like it.
I wanted it all white.
And I find that the xls bumper looks better all one color, my other choice was to get an xlt bumper instead, but this was Tones cheaper.

Cheers

Ben.
