Deepest sub in a Sport trac?

Does anyone know the deepest possible sub that can fit behind the seat in an 08 xlt? Was hoping to build a box to fit in the factory sub cubby hole that would fit a Boston Acoustics G510-44.....6 3/4" depth.

Am I just dreaming?

Yep, dreaming. About 5.75" is all you'll be able to pull off on the driver's side. 4.75" max on the passenger side.

I dont know about an 08, but on an 05 i did a custom box for 2 -jl10w0. It was a wood frame with a glass front and back

About 5.5" if you get it in exactly the right spot. That would include space for the pole vent also.

Not necessarily. My Sundownz aren't "shallow". But, the best option was discontinued (SI Mag. v4). Maybe the BM's will actually show up this decade.
